Ballingslöv International acquires Spanish KBV to strengthen its European platform
Ballingslöv International acquires KBV, one of Spain’s leading companies within kitchen, bathroom and storage solutions, from PE company ABAC. The acquisition represents an important step in Ballingslöv International’s ambition to further expand its European footprint and strengthen its decentralized multi-brand platform.
KBV has a leading position in the Spanish market and a growing international presence, including established export operations in the US, France and Portugal. The company has revenues of approximately EUR 55 million and operates under well-known brands including OB, Delta and DOCA.
The acquisition marks a new phase in KBV’s development, creating opportunities for accelerated growth while continuing to build on the company’s existing strengths, entrepreneurial culture and strong customer relationships.
KBV will continue to operate as an independent business unit, maintaining its brands, management team, organization and operating model. Production sites and the existing operational structure will remain unchanged, reflecting Ballingslöv International’s decentralized approach and focus on continuity, local responsibility and long-term development.
”KBV is an excellent strategic fit for Ballingslöv International. The company strengthens our geographic platform, adds valuable capabilities and brings clear potential for continued growth. With our decentralized model and long-term industrial ownership, we believe Ballingslöv International is the right partner to support KBV in its next phase,”, says Björn Hauber, CEO and Managing Director of Ballingslöv International.
